Its aim is to provide all the necessary information for paddlers who want to know where to find a piece of whitewater to have fun on. The introduction of the book gives more insight into the paddling scene in Southern Africa, and the river descriptions are grouped according to drainage basins. Every description is accompanied by a detailed map and a fact file with information like difficulty, length, duration, type of river, put-in and take-out points, and necessary permits.
